Austin Girls' Choir Presents . . .

Feb. 23 - our annual Madrigal Dinner, a fun family-oriented musical dinner theater performance.  A play replete with court intrigue and star-crossed love, a pillory for your favorite "bad guys," delicious dinner and dessert, and (of course) a lot of madrigals and Elizabethan-era folksongs!  Tickets: Nobles' Court (all ages) $30; Gallery $20 adults, $15 children.  Seating 6:00-6:30 p.m., dinner and drama 6:30-8:00 p.m.  The show will be held at the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center, at 13th and Lavaca; free parking is available in the parking garage directly across 13th Street.  For ticket sales, call 453-0884.

March 1 - Austin Girls' Choir sings the National Anthem for the Toros' home game at 7 p.m.  They're playing the Anaheim Arsenal.  Basketball fans can purchase tickets from us (453-0884) at the discount price of $10 up till Feb. 28, and support AGC simultaneously -- $3 of each ticket we sell goes toward our travel fund.

March 5 - 8:30 a.m. performance for the Texas Association of School Business Officials' conference, Austin Convention Center

April 27 - our annual Spring Tea at the Caswell House, 15th and West Streets, Austin.  Enjoy delicious treats by fabulous Austin chefs while our ensembles serenade you!  Seatings at 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00.  Tickets $25, all ages.  453-0884.

May 11 - Mothers' Day mini-concert by our Seniors at 3:15 -- a casual 25-minute performance sung by our Senior girls for their moms, to which the public is also welcome. 

June 9-13 - general choir camp.  Girls from outside AGC are welcome to attend with our choristers!  9-5 daily, concert at 5 on June 13.  Ages 8-15, beginners on up.  Fun songs, choreography, music reading, ear training, art projects, guest instructors and more!  Lunch and snacks included.  $300 per child.  Central Austin, Hyde Park United Methodist Church, 4001 Speedway.

June 13 - 5:00 p.m. casual concert - our campers show off the results of the week's work!  Free.  Location TBA.

June 14 - 7:00 p.m. - AGC sings the National Anthem for the Round Rock Express home game.

June 16-20 - tour choir camp.  Girls preparing for the East Coast tour meet 9-5 daily to polish 2 hours' worth of music for a tour that will take them from Richmond to Washington, D.C. to New York City.
